MEDICINAL USES:
MUSCULAR and SKIN: Use as a massage oil for wound healing, viral infections, skin conditions like dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and seborrhea dermatitis; and to increase circulation to relieve sensation of arthritic pain, rheumatism, muscle aches, pains, strains and sprains. RESPIRATORY TRACT: Use in steam bath or sauna, or dilute in a carrier oil and massage into Chest, as a Thymus or Thyroid massage. Used to help relieve respiratory tract infections (eg. bronchitis), and as an expectorant to reduce mucus. ENDOCRINE: Said to help control some cases of hyper-thyroidism. The oil is said to help regulate the adrenal hormone to respond to stress and 'fight - or - flight' situations, fighting off fatigue, including nervous exhaustion and chronic fatigue. |
